Participant funding notice

The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) is offering participant funding to assist Indigenous peoples, members of the public and stakeholders in reviewing CNSC staff’s Regulatory Oversight Report on Uranium Processing and Nuclear Processing Facilities in Canada: 2017 and submitting comments, in writing, to the Commission.

The CNSC will hold a public meeting on December 12–13, 2018 in Ottawa, Ontario, during which CNSC staff will present the report to the Commission. This report will provide CNSC staff’s assessment of the safety performance of licensees and their facilities authorized by the CNSC for the processing of uranium and nuclear substances in 2017.

Participant funding up to $25,000 is being offered for the provision of new, distinctive and valuable information, through informed and topic-specific written submissions to the Commission.

To apply for participant funding, interested parties must fill out and return the Participant Funding Application Form. Certain terms and conditions apply. Submit the application form by:

  • Email: pfp@cnsc-ccsn.gc.ca
    Mail: Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission

    P.O. Box 1046, Station B
