Governance structures | In 2020–21, the CNSC will implement its internal policy on GBA+. The GBA+ Centre of Expertise will monitor policy implementation and GBA+ integration in decision making. It will also report to a director-general-level working group on implementation challenges and opportunities. |

Human resources | While the CNSC continues to build its capacity to conduct GBA+, it will dedicate at least 0.5 FTEs to GBA+ monitoring and implementation in 2020– 21. |
Planned initiatives | In 2020–21, the CNSC will validate its internal policy on GBA+ based on an organization-wide need assessment. GBA+ information related to the CNSC’s regulatory framework (regulations and other regulatory documents) will be reviewed as part of a monthly oversight and review process for regulatory projects and proposals. |
Reporting capacity and data | Not applicable. The CNSC, as Canada’s nuclear regulator, provides safety and security benefits to all Canadians. |
