The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) is issuing for public review and comment, Draft Regulatory Standard, S-260, Making Changes to Dose-related Information Filed with National Dose Registry.
The purpose of the Regulatory Standard, when incorporated in a licence, is to require the licensee to seek CNSC approval, in accordance with specified procedures, of any proposed changes to dose-related information previously filed with the National Dose Registry of the Department of Health.
The CNSC invites interested persons to assist in the further development of this draft regulatory document by commenting in writing on the document's content and potential usefulness. Please respond by April 30, 2004. Direct your comments to the postal or e-mail address below, referencing file 1-8-8-260.
The CNSC will take the comments received on S-260 into account when developing the regulatory standard further. These comments will be subject to the provisions of the federal Access to Information Act.
