The Regulations Amending Certain Regulations Made Under the Nuclear Safety and Control Act (Miscellaneous Program) and accompanying Regulatory Impact Analysis Statement were published in the May 26, 2010 edition of the Canada Gazette, Part II.

The regulations address comments and recommendations received from the Standing Joint Committee for the Scrutiny of Regulations with respect to the Class II Nuclear Facilities and Prescribed Equipment Regulations, the Nuclear Substances and Radiation Devices Regulations, the Packaging and Transport of Nuclear Substances Regulations and the Nuclear Security Regulations.

The modifications ensure conformity between the English and French versions of the regulations and correct wording in order to ensure consistency throughout the regulations.
