Low-level radiation detected in Bed, Bath and Beyond consumer product

The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission has been advised by the United States Department of Transportation that a consumer product sold at Bed, Bath and Beyond stores in Canada and the United States might contain a small amount of radioactive nuclear substance. The product is the Dual Ridge Metal Boutique Tissue Holder.

The level of radiation detected in the product is very low, and does not pose any health risk to the public.

Bed, Bath and Beyond has posted information regarding this product on their Web site, and invite customers who have purchased the product to return it to the store.
